  I was a patient of Dr. Gene E. Myers for many years. On Oct. 1, 2013 I received the following written report of my office examination.
  
  In part... Carotid ultrasound... 7 X 7 cm anechoic area left thyroid... not reported previously.
  (7 X 7 cm is the size of a tennis ball).
  
  An examination and ultrasound by a specialist a month later, revealed the nodule was 7 X 7 mm (about the size of a pea).
  
  I sent the information to Dr. Myers and phoned his office and have had no response.
