  Beautifully tacky decor welcomes one to a dining space that could only indicate that you are in a Mexican restaurant - splashes of color and deeply carved furniture add to the ambience. Welcoming staff greets you. Complimentary Chips and Salsa are brought to the table immediately; chips are good, Salsa only fair. Generous portion of Chimichanga stuffed with beef was quite delicious. Shrimp Cocktail main dish was tasty. Drinks are reasonably priced and very good. Definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants in Sarasota.

  3/5 stars for me. Great staff. Super friendly and very tentative. Food portions were large however, this is not authentic food. Salty and no heat (hot, spicy) on most of it and the meat was very bland. Just because an authentic Mexican makes the food does not mean that how it's made authentically!

  Good for a budget friendly lunch. I didn't love it, but I'm picky with Mexican food I will admit.. Treated a group of co-workers to lunch and they loved it!
