  If you are traveling with kids this is a nice place to take them. Sarasota can get very hot!!!!! But this pace had nice shaded play areas for the kids and shaded seating areas for the adults. When we got there my daughter spotted a raccoon, that made her day. (Don't worry, the raccoon won't bother you)

  Our 7 year old granddaughter is visiting from Kentucky and we wanted to entertain her with something that doesn't involve computer/phone screens and structured activities. She and our 11 year old friend were dubious and reluctant about the Children's Garden until we arrived. Everyone LOVED it! It's wonderful to have a place where children can play by using THEIR imagination. This is a real gem!
